RHEWIN: The German EP Strengthening of Entrepreneurship within Integration Projects/Social Firms uses targeted networking in order to improve acceptance and cooperation with regional economic partners. We hope to establish partnerships which provide sustainable work places for seriously disabled persons.

Our Slovenian partnership is composed with seven organizations dealing with problems of unemployed people mostly on the basis of their own experiences. So, the main goal is recognition and solving of unemployment problems in Slovenia and developing the proper tools, programs, proposals and infrastructure. Very important task of our partnership is also implementation of voluntary work in the society and transfer of knowledge from our transnational XoP partnership.

DESE - Developing Excellent Social Enterprises
The key concerns of the DESE partnership are sustainability, credibility and competitiveness of social economy sector and SEs.
The primary objective is to create a collection of best practices and recommendations for
  • starting up a social economy organisation
  • measuring, improving and promoting the impact and performance of SEs
  • ways of learning from experience and innovation.
DESE"s task-orientated working groups (TOWGs) are
  • Framework of social enterprises in partner countries,
  • Improving the performance of social enterprises, and
  • Measuring and performance of social enterprises. In addition to these, work is performed by the Steering Group, study visits and exchanges, national working groups and through co-operation with TCA XoP.
 
 
The Finnish partner Response concentrates on performance improvement of existing social enterprises and organisations operating in a similar manner. Improving the management processes and performance of participating organisations will help them act as capable and reliable producers of products and services. It will also improve their capabilities as employers who support the empowerment of employees and creation of pathways to the (open) labour market. The Finnish DP is equally interested in developing models for measuring and demonstrating social impacts of social enterprises and similar organisations.

The British partner C3 (A Credible, Competitive and Confident Social Economy) is keen to work with its transnational partners on the themes of improving and measuring the performance of social enterprises. C3 is keen to share experience and best practices to enable social enterprises to better access improved business and organisational development support services, which are embedded in performance improvement and quality systems. The DP aims to introduce performance improvement and quality management systems that best suit the needs of social enterprises and enable them to be more credible in the market, more competitive and more condifent in a wider market.

The Italian partner, Recoopera, is interested in the starting up and funding processes of social enterprises (cooperatives), and in working out the best legal formula of social enterprise which would be able to run normal business activity and through this gather funds for its activities and, on the other hand, be a place of social and professional reintegration for people threatened by exclusion.
